Meet Bill Grissett
About me.
I attended Georgia Southwestern College where I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education. I then taught and coached for a year before heading to seminary. I earned a Master Of Divinity degree from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. While I was in seminary, I volunteered with an inner-city Church youth group and worked at a Psychiatric Hospital. Both of these experiences were invaluable in my development as a Minister and a Counselor. After leaving seminary I began full-time ministry. I have been in ministry now for 35 years. I have spent four years in youth ministry and Thirty-One years in college ministry. My whole adult life has been spent working with and caring for people. Ever since I was young people have told me that I am a good listener and Counselor. Counseling has always been a big part of the ministries that I have been involved with. I am a certified Christian and Pastoral Counselor. I am certified through the Georgia Board of Examiners.
I am married and have two teenaged children. I attend Glenloch Baptist Church where I teach Sunday School and am a Deacon. I have recently transitioned from full-time ministry to full-time counseling. My Church wanted to support this effort and recently voted to bring me into an unpaid staff position and are providing office space for me to Counsel in. It means a lot to me that my Church believes in what I am doing. I will be counseling two days a week in person at Glenloch Baptist Church and I will be counseling two days a week via zoom.
What to do when meeting with Bill Grissett at Glenloch
When arriving at Glenloch Baptist Church please park near the Glenloch offices. I am including a picture of the office door on the right, as well as a map of Glenloch Baptist Church. Please text me when you arrive at 706-313-2415 and remain in your vehicle. I will come out and get you when it is time for your appointment. Please note: The only in-person Counseling days will be Monday and Tuesday at Glenloch Baptist Church (You may also book an online session on Monday and Tuesday). Wednesday and Thursday will be online only via zoom.
Fee: A 55 minute session is $60.00. Payment is due at the time of the session.
